Nearly didn’t order because I’ve bought cleaning gadgets before and barely used them. So far I’ve used it around the kitchen taps and on the shower screen. Keeping it.
I mean you still have to wipe the dirt off afterwards, but the steam helped loosen the greasy patches I’d been going over with other stuff. Took a few passes on the worst bit. Pleased with it, and the brush attachment is the most useful one.
Really handy around the taps and shower door edges, the tank needs refilling sooner than I expected, so I wouldn’t use it to clean the whole house in one go. For the fiddly bits I bought it for though I’m quite happy with it.

Will this damage my countertop/surfaces?
It definitely can. Because it’s extremely hot steam, the easiest rule of thumb is just the kettle test: if you wouldn’t want to spill boiling water from your kettle onto it, keep the steamer away from it.
Safe to blast:
- Oven glass and baked-on grease
- Bathroom tile and grimy grout lines
- Silicone sealant and shower screens
- Fridge seals and window tracks
Do not use on:
- Unsealed wood or delicate varnishes
- Thin plastics that might warp under heat
- Cold glass (start further back, then close in)
How does steam do a better job than bleach?
It depends entirely on where and how you use it.
Sprays work chemically, which means they leave a residue and fumes behind. Steam works physically. The heat melts the bond between the surface and the grime so you can just wipe it away. If you are trying to lift stubborn dirt without breathing in chemicals or scrubbing for an hour, you are in the right place.
Does it REALLY clean absolutely everything?
No. We designed this to be your heavy-duty detailer, not exactly a catch-all tool for massive areas. If you try to deep clean an entire living room carpet or tackle a whole bathroom top-to-bottom on a single tank, you will end up disappointed.

A 2500W heater turns plain water into 100°C steam under pressure. Three things happen when it hits grime.

It dumps its heat on contact
Steam holds far more heat than boiling water, and it lets it all go the instant it condenses on a cooler surface. Grease and dried-on spills soften right where they sit.

It gets in where a cloth can’t
Steam is a gas, so it slips into grout pores, tap bases, door seals, hinges and vents before it condenses. The heat lands in the gaps a cloth just skims over.
